Quality Education

Quality education in the camps delivered by camp residents is the only sustainable solution to lack of access to formal education. Lack of money, need to work, language issues and family situations prevent children attending schools outside the camps. Schools for camp residents need to be flexible and responsive to students’ situations. Therefore, education in the camps by camp residents is the only option for many displaced children.

They have the right to quality education that equips them with skills and knowledge that gives them opportunities to build a life of dignity. Training refugee teachers in teaching methodology gives them skills and confidence and well as the knowledge of the importance of their work.
